Job description

Purpose Brands, the parent company of Orangetheory, Anytime Fitness, Waxing the City, and The Bar Method, is seeking a Senior Manager of Strategy and Corporate Development to join its team. The Senior Manager of Strategy and Corporate Development will report to the VP of Strategy and serve as a key contributor to enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, partnering with the executive team on high-priority projects as Purpose Brands scales toward $4B in revenue.


Purpose/Impact (Duties & Essential Functions)

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives

  • Support strategic initiatives / special projects that align with the company's financial and operational goals.

  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., finance, legal, marketing, operations) to ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives.

  • Establish frameworks, timelines, and metrics to evaluate the success of initiatives and projects.

  • Present strategic recommendations and deal proposals to the board of directors and executive leadership for approval.

  • Support the executive team in making informed, data-driven decisions by synthesizing information from various sources, identifying key insights, and offering recommendations.

Strategic Planning, Development, and Communication

  • Identify and evaluate growth opportunities in line with corporate objectives, including organic growth, acquisitions, and new market entry.

  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and business intelligence to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's long-term strategic vision in collaboration with the executive leadership team.

  • Support with preparing materials and presentations for board meetings, ensuring that key updates on M&A, corporate strategy, and growth initiatives are clearly communicated.
