Job Description:
Our client is seeking a New Business Case Manager to support the end-to-end management of life insurance applications through the underwriting and policy issuance process. This role serves as the primary point of contact after application submission, ensuring cases are accurately reviewed, properly documented, and efficiently moved through each stage of the process.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and is comfortable managing multiple cases while communicating with customers, underwriting teams, and internal stakeholders. This is a highly operational, customer-facing role requiring strong analytical skills, process ownership, and the ability to resolve issues with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage life insurance applications from submission through underwriting, approval, and policy issuance
  • Review applications for completeness and identify missing or inconsistent information
  • Communicate clearly with applicants, underwriting teams, and internal partners to move cases forward
  • Monitor case progress and ensure adherence to service level timelines
  • Document all case activity accurately within CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Coordinate with underwriting, compliance, and policy issuance teams to resolve issues
  • Support resolution of escalations, requirements, and outstanding documentation
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across high-volume case loads
  • Identify process delays or system issues and escalate appropriately
  • Provide a high level of customer service throughout the lifecycle of each case

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in case management, insurance operations, underwriting support, or related customer-facing role
  • Experience within life insurance or financial services strongly preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
