We're looking for a growth focused Transfer Pricing Senior Manager to join our growing International Tax team.
In your role, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Build and grow a transfer pricing team in the local market
  • Act as a growth catalyst and brand ambassador for RSM in bringing new clients and opportunities to the firm - teaming with colleagues on new and existing pursuits
  • Actively participate in growth activities in the local market
  • Expand services to existing clients of the firm - both transfer pricing and other tax, audit and consulting services, as applicable
  • Run client engagements from start to finish, including planning, executing, directing, and completing tax and transfer pricing projects and managing to budget
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff on tax and transfer pricing projects and assess staff performance
  • Evaluate and advise clients on intercompany transfers of tangible goods, intangible property, services, and loans and conduct financial and economic analyses of multinational and domestic corporations, industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation
  • Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance using MS Word, Excel, and various statistical sampling packages
  • Review and analyze GAAP financial statements
  • Contribute to thought leadership materials
  • Proactively interact with key client management to gather information, resolve tax and transfer pricing related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements
  • Provide planning assistance, audit defense/resolution, and prepare documentation
  • Manage teams to produce client deliverables
  • Enhance technical skills by remaining up to date on trends, new legislative developments, tax authority decisions, and apply them to complex situations relevant to the client

Basic Qualifications
  • Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
  • Requires one of the following:
    • Enrolled Agent
    • Certified Public Accountant
    • Juris Doctor
    • Chartered Financial Analyst
    • Advanced degree in Economics, Business, International Relations, International Affairs, Tax, Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • Requires a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive tax and transfer pricing experience in public accounting, consulting, or academia
  • Requires experience in several of the following areas: transfer pricing documentation studies, transfer pricing planning and design, financial statements analysis, valuations, quantitative and competitive analysis, statistical sampling and econometrics, strategy evaluation, and/or operational performance analysis
  • Requires experience with tax audits, dealing with tax authorities
  • Requires four years of supervisory experience
  • Requires ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to local client sites
  • Ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Strong tax accounting skills with proficiency in GAAP
  • Strong research and computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax software and technology
  • Strong English speaking and writing skills. Bilingualism is a strong asset
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, project management, analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Interest in expanding market development skills

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $149,800 - $301,400
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
