About the Role

The Procurement Team leads all procurement activities for the companyโ€™s global operations, overseeing nearly $200M in annual direct and indirect spend.

We are looking for an energetic, collaborative teammate to maximize efficiency and stakeholder satisfaction in procurement functions in a role that supports both direct/indirect supplier management, and procurement systems utilization and application. The supplier management portion includes authoring commodity strategies, leading supplier selection, and contract negotiations. The procurement systems portion includes applying AI to procurement functions, managing ERPs such as Coupa, designing PowerBI dashboards, managing ServiceNow requests, and producing departmental metrics. You will interact with team members from Finance, Legal, Engineering, Operations, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Facilities to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of essential goods and services. You will lead and participate in high level strategic initiatives and support daily business execution, interacting with senior level management to individual contributors. In short, youโ€™ll support the continued success of Intermedia by supplying first-class procurement and systems services to its internal and external partners.

This role will report to the Senior Director of Procurement.

What you will be doing:
  • Facilitate and author commodity strategies for key inbound products and services
  • Partner with Legal to ensure terms are consistent with contractual requirements and incorporate those terms into contracts, such as MSAs and SOWs, negotiated with suppliers
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand and document details of business and procurement requirements, and use those to identify and select suppliers for everything from security software to engineering services, securing the best possible terms such as price, quality of goods and services, schedule, etc.
  • Lead RFI and RFP initiatives, and aid and document cost savings efforts
  • Utilize and configure systems and tools such as ERPs (Coupa), PowerBI, Atlassian, ServiceNow, and multiple AI models to streamline procurement processes and produce organizational metrics
  • Support the vendor qualification and onboarding processes
  • Create purchase requisitions and orders for stakeholders, reconciling these with supply requests including administering Coupa and assisting Intermedia employees with Coupa processing and reporting
  • Reconcile invoices to contractual terms to resolve inconsistencies
What you will bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
  • Strategic focus and planning acumen in crafting and articulating commodity strategies
  • Direct experience negotiating and executing contracts in partnership with the legal department
  • Self-starting, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial attitude with a program management perspective
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse groups by displaying solid interpersonal and rapport building abilities
  • Demonstrated successful application of AI and machine learning to help build leading edge procurement workflows and operations
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and contractual skills
  • Strong time management and planning skills required to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changes in business requirements
  • Demonstrated high level of proficiency in the Microsoft suite of productivity applications such as Word, Excel including large data set manipulation and pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Software-as-as-Service (SaaS), Telecom and/or Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) industry experience a plus
  • Prior experience with Coupa, ServiceNow, and/or Python a plus
