The Director, Technical Recruiting will lead CLEAR's technical recruiting strategy and team, partnering closely with our CTO and senior technology leaders to translate business priorities and workforce plans into an effective talent strategy. You'll lead and develop a high-performing team of Technical Recruiters while using data, market intelligence, and recruiting expertise to attract exceptional talent and deliver against CLEAR's most critical technical hiring needs.
What you'll do:
  • Lead CLEAR's technical recruiting strategy and team, ensuring hiring priorities, resources, and recruiting efforts are aligned to the needs of the business
  • Partner with the CTO and senior technology leaders to understand organizational priorities, anticipate talent needs, and develop strategic hiring plans
  • Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing team of Technical Recruiters, establishing clear expectations and raising the bar for recruiting execution and candidate experience
  • Leverage recruiting data, talent market intelligence, and business insights to influence hiring strategies, identify opportunities, and advise leaders on how to attract and hire exceptional technical talent
  • Build trusted relationships across Technology and the People team while continuously improving recruiting processes, practices, and approaches to deliver against evolving business needs

How you'll measure success:
  • Achievement of technical hiring plans across priority roles and teams
  • Quality of hire, offer acceptance, and candidate experience
  • Recruiting efficiency, including time to fill and pipeline health
  • Performance and development of the Technical Recruiting team

What you're great at:
  • 8+ years of recruiting experience, including experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments
  • Deep expertise in technical recruiting with a track record of building strategies and delivering talent across complex, high-bar technical roles
  • Trusted partnership with senior executives and technology leaders, with the ability to influence hiring strategy and translate business priorities into actionable talent plans
  • Using recruiting data and talent market insights to identify opportunities, tell a compelling story, and drive better hiring decisions
  • Building and developing high-performing teams while navigating multiple priorities, ambiguity, and rapidly changing business needs

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 - $230,000, depending on levels of skills and experience.
The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR's total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
