The Director, Strategic Projects, will lead the execution of strategic initiatives that drive DaVita's value-based care programs. Specifically, this leader will play a pivotal role in executing a significant technology transition. This high-impact, high-visibility role will oversee and represent the IKC business priorities through the duration of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) transition and implementation, serving as a dyad to the product and technology teams. This leader will also perform special projects as assigned to drive strategic planning, management process, business communications and aggregating / synthesizing information to support business processes and decision-making.

We support patients with kidney disease holistically to address the totality of their healthcare needs, ultimately reducing medical complications and improving overall healthcare cost. Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Partner to drive the prioritization and implementation aligned with DaVita's care model strategy. Lead sessions with senior leadership to drive efficient decision-making; clearly articulating trade-offs, assumptions, budget and timeline impacts to senior level audiences.
  • Operational Execution & Project Management: Establish clear project objectives, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals. Oversee the execution of the technology transition and synthesize progress for all levels of the organization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including operations, finance, clinical, IT, product, and compliance, to execute against the implementation project plan.
  • Special Project Execution: Execute team management processes including meeting agendas, recaps and follow-ups. Project manage critical projects working across multiple service lanes; monitor metrics, track progress of initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior leadership

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university required; master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare strategy, consulting, value-based care, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Strong expertise in value-based care strategy and operations, particularly within the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized, structured working style with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office products and familiarity with healthcare data analytics tools.

Travel and Other Requirements:
  • Travel up to 25% may be required.
  • Maintains the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.

The Salary Range for the role is $115,000.00 - $183,000.00 per year.
