As a full-time Regional Sales Director in the Sales Department at Aalberts. The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for implementing technology, processes and partnering with the account management, customer success, marketing, product engineering and operations teams, to deliver the best possible customer experience. Responsible for managing and leading sales employees to deliver upon all sales goals. The role develops and executes sales policies, objectives and initiatives to increase revenue growth for the sales team. The Regional Sales Director will live in and be willing to travel within assigned territory.

your challenge

  • Develop, direct, and execute sales policies, annual and quarterly sales objectives and initiatives which satisfy growth and revenue objectives for the respective team across all product categories/ verticals and customer types.
  • Manage the sales team by selecting and developing team members and monitoring performance activity on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively to lead a team to ensure strong territory growth and account management.
  • Identify ways to capture additional revenue opportunities through strategic management of existing client base and identification of new client opportunities.
  • Generate revenue in assigned sales territory by analyzing sales statistics to determine business growth potential and creating leads to generate new business opportunities.
  • Responsible for managing and leading sales employees to deliver upon all sales goals in addition to creating personalized plans to help grow and develop each team member’s skill set.
  • Drives, manages and executes the business and revenue of a sales team.
  • Analyzes regional market dynamics in an effort to maximize existing successes and to create new sales growth opportunities.
  • Educates team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing.
  • Prepares forecasts, territory/industry management, and growth plans.
  • Establishes and reports on metrics to measure team performance, correct deficiencies where necessary.
  • Ensures that the regional sales plan is aligned with and supports the corporate revenue goal.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by your manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ten years of outside sales experience with prior business development responsibilities and consultative selling experience is preferred
  • Sales management experience.
  • Weekend and evening work required.
  • Travel is required up to 50% of the time.
