Scissor Lift Operator | Mesa, AZ


Looking for a hands-on opportunity where your skills and certifications are valued? Nexeo Staffing is seeking an experienced Scissor Lift Operator to support pallet racking installation projects. This role requires operating a scissor lift extensively while assisting with installation, assembly, and warehouse optimization activities.

Responsibilities


  • Operate scissor lifts upwards of 40 feet
  • Assist with pallet racking installation and material handling system assembly.
  • Inventory, stage, and organize materials using effective space management techniques.
  • Utilize tools, equipment, assets, and supplies required to complete assigned projects.
  • Set up and use software and hardware as needed for project execution.
  • Perform fastening and anchoring applications according to project specifications.
  • Take accurate measurements and ensure proper installation alignment.
  • Install and assemble shelving, racking systems, conveyors, mezzanines, safety barriers, guard rails, caster decking, and other material handling equipment.
  • Complete component assembly accurately and efficiently according to specifications.
  • Apply 5S tape, stickers, and labels as required.
  • Follow and promote all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain consistent communication with project management regarding assignment progress and project status.
  • Attend daily stand-up and safety meetings and implement assigned action items.
  • Conduct daily vehicle and equipment inspections.
  • Document and communicate project issues, blockers, and abnormalities promptly.
  • Maintain clean and organized work and storage areas.
  • Accurately track and submit timekeeping records.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions.
  • Represent the company professionally through behavior, performance, and communication.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications


  • Minimum one year of Scissor Lift Operation experience
  • Scissor Lift Certification preferred. Must be willing able to be certified if not
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to pass a National Background check
  • Scissor Lift certification required.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Proper PPE is required at all times.
  • Knowledge of basic construction, assembly techniques, and associated tools.
  • Ability to learn and utilize basic computer software applications.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work at heights up to 40 feet.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Ability to squat, bend, and kneel frequently throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
  • Ability to work 12+ hour shifts as needed


Pay

$22.00 per hour


Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
