Job description

Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking an IM Physician - ICU/NIGHTS (7 on 7 off, 5 PM to 5 AM)
Mercy Health in Lima, OH is seeking an internal medicine physician to join our Medical Group and provide coverage in the ICU. Our 407 bed Level 2 Trauma Center is has a catchment of 480,000. We are 1-2 hours from Dayton, Toledo, Columbus, Fort Wayne, Cincinnati and Detroit and offer small city, suburban, small town and rural living options.
  • Cover 7 on, 7 off, 5 PM to 5 AM
  • 18 bed ICU with 22 bed overflow (average patients census is 15-20)
  • Oversite of residents (IM, EM, FM)
  • Admit critically ill patients
  • Respond to Code Blues throughout the hospital.
  • Critical Care management including line placement, intubation, CVC, arterial lines, and vent management
  • Strong support from APCs, medical students, residents, RN, RT, Pharmacists, PT/OT/SLP, Dietary
    • Daytime coverage is an Intensivist/Pulmonologist
  • We offer: Structural Heart Program, ECHMO, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Neurosurgery, CT and CV Surgery
