About the role

As Director of Solution Management, you will define and own the strategy for integrated, end-to-end solutions across Straumann Group's portfolio. This role connects individual product strategies into cohesive, scalable and customer-focused solutions that deliver measurable value for customers and the business.

Working as a peer to Product Management Directors, you will orchestrate complex, multidisciplinary solutions across domains such as data acquisition, surgical, restorative, manufacturing and digital platforms. You will bring a holistic view across product domains and business units, helping teams align priorities, manage dependencies and evolve products as part of one coherent solution ecosystem.

This is a strategic role for someone who can combine portfolio thinking, customer insight, solution design and cross-functional collaboration to shape how integrated solutions are delivered and adopted across the organization.

Your Role

In this role you will:

  • Define and own the strategy for integrated, end-to-end solutions across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with business priorities, customer needs and portfolio goals.
  • Translate customer needs, market opportunities and business priorities into clear solution strategies.
  • Connect digital products, services, manufacturing capabilities and the implant portfolio into integrated customer solutions.
  • Shape end-to-end solution concepts that support consistent customer experiences, scalable implementation and long-term portfolio evolution.
  • Identify gaps, overlaps and dependencies across the solution ecosystem and work with stakeholders to address them.
  • Influence product roadmaps from an end-to-end solution perspective, ensuring individual roadmaps support shared portfolio priorities.
  • Facilitate alignment and prioritization across Product Management, business units and relevant functions.
  • Support decision-making by bringing a holistic, cross-domain perspective to portfolio discussions.
  • Partner with commercial and customer-facing teams to support adoption, implementation and value realization.
  • Define and monitor measures for solution adoption, performance, customer value and business impact.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation that emerge from integrating products, technologies, services and capabilities.

Your Profile

You bring a combination of strategic product management, solution leadership, cross-functional orchestration and customer-focused business experience.

Essential requirements:

  • Postgraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Dentistry or a related field.
  • Significant experience in Product Management, Solution Management or a closely related function.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives, at least on a functional basis.
  • Proven experience working across complex, multidisciplinary portfolios and organizational structures.
  • Experience in medical devices.
  • Good understanding of software development and Agile ways of working.
  • Ability to influence across organizational and business-unit boundaries.
  • Well-developed strategic, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders.
  • Business-fluent English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the dental industry.
  • Additional language skills.

What Makes You a Great Fit

You are successful in this role if you can create clarity across complexity and help teams move from individual product perspectives to integrated, customer-focused solutions. You are comfortable working across organizational boundaries, aligning stakeholders around shared priorities and turning strategic opportunities into actionable solution plans.

You bring curiosity, sound judgment and a collaborative working style. You focus on measurable customer and business outcomes, challenge existing boundaries when it improves value, and use feedback to continuously improve solutions. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy shaping strategy, connecting people and ideas, and enabling innovation across a broad solution ecosystem.
