Solta Medical, a division of Bausch Health, is a global leader in the medical aesthetics industry. We are seeking a strategic and driven Senior Director of Marketing to join our dynamic and results-oriented team.

The Senior Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing business strategies and tactics for the Solta Medical Division of Bausch Health. This position works in close collaboration with cross functional groups to drive downstream marketing execution, product innovation with research and development, and flow-through processes with manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Responsible for product and brand strategies and executions

As product champion, understand all technical and clinical aspects of the products

In collaboration with the senior management and sales management teams, plan product strategies based on input from customers and consumers through field sales and market research

In collaboration with cross-functional partners, manage execution of all tactics related to professional (provider) and consumer product marketing activities, advertising, promotion, public relations, sales tools, collateral materials, web site

Research and communicate competitive information to sales and internal management

Recommend and execute product pricing strategies

Recommend and execute lead generation programs for new business

Be proactive in developing customer relationships and participate in maintaining goodwill with current KOLs

Participate with management in forecasting volume

Recommend and manage market research activities on an as needed basis to remain current with product and market trends

Strong strategy delivery to senior management

Strong leadership experience in digital marketing / expertise in leveraging AI

Implement strategies and initiatives that drive consumer demand generation and practice growth experience. With input from field sales and customers, analyze and communicate to senior management product trends that may require change in strategic direction

Act as primary interface with field sales on all product and brand issues

Ensure that product tactics are delivered according to agreed timelines

Ensure that marketing strategies and tactics are compliant with regulatory, legal and compliance regulations

Execute launch and marketing plans to ensure product acceptance and revenue goals

Continually monitor product performance and quickly react to any changes in the market

Lead ongoing product life-cycle management

Monitor and prioritize product quality issues. Work on cross-functional teams to resolve product issues and critical customer issues

Perform other related product management, digital marketing and marketing tasks, as needed

Potential travel of 30-50% as needed 

Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred

10 years of business experience with at least 5 years in medical device and/or pharmaceutical sales/marketing functions

A minimum of 3 years' experience managing Brand/Product managers

Experience with different stages of the product life cycle management

Experience in an Aesthetics marketing position; desired

Results Orientation - lead teams to deliver results and achieve objectives consistently on time

Commercial Orientation - ability to prioritize commercial opportunities across the portfolio and develop product strategies for capturing the maximum commercial value

Excellent direct and cross functional leadership skills - ability to lead, collaborate and influence without authority; uses informal structure, dynamics and culture to get things done

Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills

Strong presentation skills - Effectively communicates ideas and strategies

Analytical and problem resolution skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a dynamic organization; Effective collaboration with all constituencies is critical to the success of this position

Knowledge of marketing theory, principles, and practices within the medical device/healthcare industry

A demonstrated track record of growing businesses

A demonstrated leadership track record of establishing culture and team development

The range of starting base pay for this role is 221,000-304,000.  Actual starting pay will be based on a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, qualifications, education and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for participation in either (i) our annual bonus program or (ii) a sales incentive plan.
