About the Role

This role provides senior leadership across software engineering delivery, people management, and technical direction. You will guide large, distributed teams, contribute deep technical expertise, and work closely with customers and stakeholders to shape and evolve products. The position balances strategic accountability with hands‑on problem solving.

Responsibilities
  • Lead large offshore teams to deliver solutions that address complex business needs
  • Hold overall management accountability, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and staff development
  • Ensure teams are skilled in the critical aspects of their roles through clear feedback, knowledge sharing, and training opportunities
  • Act as a senior technical authority by writing advanced, complex code, performing code reviews, and leading development approaches
  • Work directly with customers and end users, providing input into solution and product design
  • Encourage new ideas and innovation, empowering team members to take ownership and accountability
  • Use effective project planning and management practices to balance multiple priorities and deliver outcomes
Requirements
  • Substantial software engineering experience, with the ability to design, build, and review complex systems
  • Strong experience with project planning and management tools and methodologies
  • Proven experience in staff resourcing and people management, including offshore and partner‑based models
  • Expertise across development languages and technologies such as Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, .NET, Windows, and UNIX
  • Advanced experience with code reviews, development standards, and modern engineering practices
  • High proficiency in database technologies, including design, optimization, manipulation, and best practices
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Clear and effective communication skills, able to convey technical information to diverse audiences
