Job description

Job Description:
360i is back in the U.S. as a market-specific, AI-native, social-first growth solution built for clients who need to move at culture-speed and translate that velocity into business outcomes. The offering is designed around Speed to Culture, Speed to Commerce, and Speed to Communities, supported by a lean leadership structure and a focused launch plan.
At 360i, our Connected Content Lead (aka: Group Creative Director) is the force behind work people don't just see - they share, save, and obsess over. We're looking for a creative leader who instinctively understands culture and knows how to shape it, delivering scroll-stopping, drool-worthy social ideas that earn attention and spark conversation. This is someone who can lead teams to craft bold, platform-native work that feels fresh, relevant, and impossible to ignore - where every idea is as strategically sharp as it is creatively compelling. You've done it before, raising the bar on craft while guiding multidisciplinary teams from concept to execution, and you push beyond cultural relevance to create work that actually moves culture forward, drives impact for clients, and makes our audiences feel something worth talking about.
This leader will join while we're building and be able to put their fingerprints in the vision and how we build the offering from the beginning, developing our perspective, how we go to market and ultimately delivering best in class work that breaks the internet.
This role can be located in any of our US office locations including: Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago or New York. Please include a portfolio.
What You Will Be Responsible For:
Championing Great Ideas
  • As the creative center of gravity for the connected content system, you will be responsible for championing great ideas from spark to impact, not only identifying the creative potential in unconventional places, but also nurturing it, shaping it, and ensuring it survives the journey from concept to culture.
  • See the potential in ideas early, whether they originate from creators, strategists, AI-assisted exploration, social signals, or cross disciplinary collaborators, and amplify them into culturally resonant, brand elevating work.
  • Raise the creative bar continuously, modeling the behaviors and instincts that reflect Dentsu Creative's aspiration to "scale creativity" -- helping teams climb "the mountain" toward work that is more original, more culturally attuned, and more meaningful.
  • Push beyond traditional formats and channels, encouraging experimentation, embracing nonlinear storytelling, and championing nontraditional pathways to making (from creator collaborations to AI driven idea exploration).
  • Nurture diverse creative talent, creating space for emerging voices, new makers, and unconventional thinkers, cultivating an environment where creativity can come from anyone, anywhere, at any stage of the process.
  • Protect bold ideas, guiding them through the system with the right balance of rigor, craft, and advocacy - ensuring they retain their power and clarity as they evolve through production and distribution.
  • Model a standard of creative excellence that inspires teams, reassures clients, and strengthens 360i's reputation as an AI native, culturally fluent creative leader.

Standing Up a Modern Connected Content System
  • Standing up a connected content system that defines how ideas move from inputs → creation → distribution → optimization across 360i, ensuring it functions as a platform-agnostic, modular, always-on content engine.
  • Instituting AI-first practices consistent with 360i's operating principle that AI should augment every stage of creation and iteration.
  • Ensuring creators, influencers, AI-generated content, and traditional production methods are equally viable inputs selected based on strategic and performance needs.
  • Working with media, social, and activation leads to ensure ideas are designed for distribution, not merely delivered to it.

Working Across Other Capabilities
  • This role will work across Strategy, Creative, Production, Influencer, Social, Media, Activation, and Analytics to ensure the connected content system functions as a unified engine.

Qualifications:
  • 13+ years in creative/content leadership with a track record of shipping platform-native, multi-format systems that drive measurable business impact.
  • Command of creator/influencer ecosystems, platform dynamics, and rights/governance frameworks.
  • Hands-on fluency in AI-assisted creative workflows across ideation, production, and optimization.
  • Strong executive presence with C-suite audiences and ability to articulate complex systems simply.

How You'll Work
  • Work within 360i's lean leadership nucleus alongside Strategy, Activation, and Analytics leads and across the broader Dentsu operating model (Dentsu Creative, etc).
  • Operate from an AI-first perspective across audience building, ideation, content creation, activation, and measurement.
  • Make distribution-informed creative decisions and loop learnings back into the system each cycle.

Why This Role, Now
As we re-ignite 360i, we need a leader who can turn speed into a system - a builder who treats creators, influencers, AI, and production partners as equal inputs in a connected engine, and who can ship with taste, rigor, and accountability.
