Job description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is passionate about supporting students' growth in a public school environment near Lafayette, IN. This contract role offers full-time, onsite work, making a positive difference in the lives of children through individualized therapy, collaboration, and outstanding service delivery.
As an integral part of a supportive team, you'll provide direct SLP services, contribute to IEP meetings, and partner closely with educators and families. Your commitment to high standards and student success will shine as you embrace both clinical excellence and creativity in your practice.
Qualifications and Desired Experience

  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) held for at least 1 year
  • Active professional state license
  • Minimum of 1 year of IEP experience in a school or similar setting
  • Familiarity with school-based pediatric caseloads (including SLP-CFY welcome)
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about enhancing student outcomes
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experienced in digital paperwork, software, and receptive to new technology tools
  • Collaborative approach; excellent communicator with students, families, and staff
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct speech-language services to students onsite in accordance with IEPs
  • Complete thorough and timely evaluations, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Engage and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for student support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and goal-setting
  • Access and utilize assessment resources provided
  • Maintain open, supportive communication with families and teaching staff
