Job description

Position Overview:

As the Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the online product experience across the KLIM and 509 ecommerce businesses. Working across four websites (B2C and B2B), you will oversee product setup, catalog maintenance, site merchandising, promotional execution, and quality assurance to ensure products are accurately represented and easy for customers to discover and purchase. You will partner closely with Marketing, Product, Operations, and Merchandising teams while helping drive improvements in site performance, data quality, and operational efficiency. This role offers the opportunity to influence the customer experience at scale while supporting a growing ecommerce ecosystem across multiple brands and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage product setup, catalog maintenance, and merchandising data for KLIM and 509 ecommerce websites, ensuring accuracy and completeness across product launches and lifecycle updates.
  • Configure and maintain product attributes, categories, collections, specifications, tags, badges, and related merchandising information within ecommerce systems.
  • Coordinate product launches and catalog updates by partnering with Product, Merchandising, Operations, and Ecommerce teams to ensure information is accurate and ready for publication.
  • Execute onsite merchandising strategies across homepages, category pages, collection pages, product listings, and search results to improve product discoverability and customer experience.
  • Build, configure, and maintain promotional campaigns, including discounts, coupon codes, sitewide offers, product-specific promotions, and gift-with-purchase programs.
  • Monitor website performance, customer behavior, and merchandising effectiveness using analytics tools and recommend improvements that support business objectives.
  • Perform quality assurance testing for products, promotions, content updates, navigation, search functionality, pricing, inventory visibility, and checkout experiences across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Identify, document, and resolve ecommerce issues impacting merchandising accuracy, customer experience, or site performance.
  • Maintain ecommerce documentation, workflows, operational standards, and QA processes to support consistent execution across brands.
  • Contribute ideas that improve automation, data management, and operational efficiency across ecommerce systems and integrations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing ecommerce websites in a merchandising, ecommerce operations, or digital commerce role.
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience administering and maintaining Shopify storefronts.
  • Experience with product setup, catalog management, collections, categories, product tagging, taxonomy management, and promotional configuration.
  • Demonstrated understanding of ecommerce merchandising best practices and customer-facing website management.
  • Experience performing website quality assurance testing and validating ecommerce functionality across key user journeys.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, ecommerce reporting tools, and website analytics platforms.
  • Experience with Shopify or WordPress content management systems.
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems, along with search and merchandising tools, personalization platforms, and A/B testing, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS, ecommerce troubleshooting, and supporting product launches, promotional campaigns, or high-volume ecommerce events is preferred.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Rigby, ID, or be willing to relocate. This hybrid role requires in-office attendance Tuesday through Thursday.
