Job description

  • Own the holistic retailer marketing perspective for leadership and cross-functional management, incorporating input from account owners
  • Lead the overarching Sephora strategy, including product priorities, key bets, exclusives, and marketing levers
  • Lead market meetings with Sephora and internal teams, developing meeting materials and providing thought leadership and actionable insights
  • Deliver performance recaps and identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and strategic pivots
  • Lead budget and strategy inputs across commercial, brand, and media needs
  • Partner with the Director of Retail Media to align retailer co-op media with account objectives
  • Liaise between Commercial, PR/Influencer, and Brand Marketing teams on Sephora support needs
  • Manage Sephora mailer and PR box budgets and influencer content needs
  • Manage the fiscal-year social calendar for Sephora-directed content
  • Oversee sampling initiatives, including budget, strategy, monthly management, and process improvement
  • Lead sampling forecasting and inventory planning
  • Develop and manage visual merchandising briefs and in-store displays for Sephora
  • Assess and adapt merchandising strategies using performance insights and market trends
  • Lead conceptualization, development, and execution of exclusive Sephora product sets
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, and commercial teams on exclusive offerings
  • Ensure timely rollout of exclusive sets within broader marketing and merchandising strategies
  • Report to the AVP, National Accounts, Sephora & SWAK
Requirements
  • 7+ years of related marketing experience (beauty industry experience preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of market and consumer trends
  • Strategic thinking and demonstrated business acumen
  • Ability to develop data-based recommendations
  • Ability to influence others and gain support toward desired outcomes
  • Strong organizational, detail-oriented, and results-oriented capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills
