Your Role at Sephora: Ready for a career glow up? As a Product Design Manager, you will be at the helm of a dynamic team that shapes the future of beauty retail experiences. You'll lead design across a broad, connected portfolio - spanning the moments where clients discover, transact, get support, and trust us with their information, across both in-store and online experiences. You'll  lead design of AI-powered and agentic experiences, identifying opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve the client journey, including discovery, personalized recommendations, product education, beauty advice, and seamless connections between digital and in-store experiences. You'll have the opportunity to help define how our teams use AI-from accelerating discovery and prototyping to shaping more personalized and intuitive client experiences. Your leadership will inspire a team of designers and drive the strategic direction of Sephora's digital touchpoints, delivering exceptional and innovative client experiences across our platforms.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead across a broad, multi-domain portfolio, setting direction and maintaining a cohesive, client-centered experience across stores, client service, marketing technology, and account trust and security.
  • Champion design thinking and innovation by leading your team in problem-solving and ideation sessions, ensuring user research is integral to crafting compelling solutions.
  • Champion thoughtful adoption of AI across the design team, translating emerging AI capabilities into intuitive and trustworthy experiences that solve real client problems.
  • Uphold exceptional design quality by mentoring a team to excel in all aspects of design-from sketching to prototyping-while driving consistent results.
  • Strengthen collaboration and communication by building trust and fostering cross-functional partnerships with engineering, product, marketing, and operations stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in UX design with a deep understanding of e-commerce and mobile app design principles, alongside a minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience shaping and delivering customer-facing AI, machine learning, personalization, recommendation, conversational, or intelligent product experiences.
  • Expertise in leading product strategy and user experience vision, complemented by skill in workshop design and facilitation.
  • Proven ability to apply generative AI or other emerging technologies within a product design practice, from exploration and prototyping through delivery.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and persuade diverse audiences and coach designers on AI-assisted workflows.
  • A bachelor's degree in design, a related field, or equivalent experience.
