Leidos is seeking a junior Security Specialist to support the 55 WG at Offutt AFB in Omaha, NE. This upcoming role is aligned to a large program supporting the Air Combat Command's Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission. Candidates must currently possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance in order to be considered.
As a Security Specialist, you will be a contributor to the protection and success of this critical mission. If you're ready to elevate your expertise and play a vital role in national security, we encourage you to apply.
What You'll Do:
Provide direct support to the following SCI security programs: Personnel, Industrial, Physical, and Information as defined by the program manager to include:
  • Provide security oversight for all SCIF construction projects to include opening and closing construction site(s); supervising supplemental security contractors and construction security
  • technicians (CSTs) to ensure building standards meet or exceed ICD 705 construction requirements; maintain entry authority lists (EALs); making/issuing access badges and other associated duties as assigned.
  • Conduct SCI Indoctrination & Debriefings IAW prescribed guidelines to include the completion and final processing of all associated paperwork; maintain personnel security database
  • Process Foreign Travel requests
  • Process both incoming and outgoing SCI visitation requested through Defense Information Systems for Security (DISS); update and distribute entry authority lists for SCIF access
  • Make SCIF access badges as needed IAW prescribed guidance and assist with annual inventory
  • Process qualified applicants via mil check in for classified network access; track and schedule eligible candidates for counterintelligence polygraph (CIP) testing as needed
  • Assist SCI Program Manager with Information Security with violations, infractions and CMIs investigation and adjudication processes to include knowledge and proficiency with security classification guides
  • Assist SCI Security Program Manager with maintaining SCIF accreditation standards and documentation to include expert knowledge of facility IDS systems to include response and recovery procedures
  • Conduct SCIF After-Hour and Entry/Exit inspections in conjunction with assigned security team members
  • Assist with MICT and quarterly/annual SCIF inspections
  • Review and update all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Action Plans as directed by the SCI Security Program Manager
  • Provide full spectrum of customer support to include storage and transport of classified information and material
  • Maintain and expand all requisite training requirements as prescribed by DoW, CDSE and local supervisory chain
  • Assist with unit quarterly/annual SCI training requirements

What Sets You Apart (Required):
  • Current DoW Top Secret/SCI
  • Current or ability to pass a polygraph
  • High school diploma and five years of related experience, or an associate's degree and three years of related experience. At least two of those years must include direct security or IC construction experience (such as junior SSO, Security Assistant, Facilities Manager, CST, CAG, etc.).
  • Knowledge of DoW, NSA and USAF security directives

Nice to Have (Highly Desired):
  • 3+ years of construction security

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
