Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Controller in our accounting department, you will be directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Hospital. This role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. Our team works hard to support each other. We are looking for someone who is passionate about patient care and our mission, to care like family. In this role:

  • You will direct financial activities of the Hospital.
  • You will supervise preparation of Hospital general ledger and subsidiary ledgers, payroll, and inventory accounting.
  • You will coordinate the Hospital’s formal budget program and the preparation of cost report work papers.
  • You will coordinate the reimbursement activities necessary for governmental payor programs.
  • You will provide necessary management to ensure that accurate and adequate medical records are maintained current and readily available for all patients and physicians.
  • You will assist the Chief Financial Officer in directing and coordinating the financial activities of the Hospital including accounting, reporting, budgeting and internal control functions.
What qualifications you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree preferred
  • 3 years of work experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Occasional/ Intermittent Required
  • 2 years experience Required Years of Experience
