Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Dept position at a Critical Access Hospital requiring a MN RN license and 2+ years of ER experience.

Details
  • Work in the ER (Emergency Room) of a Critical Access Hospital in an acute care setting
  • Low-volume unit seeing fewer than 300 patients per month, typically staffed with 1 nurse
  • Patient population includes diverse cultural groups, with rare psych and occasional pediatric cases
  • MIs and CVAs are typically transferred out, and challenging pediatric cases are transferred to Children's in St. Cloud or St. Cloud Hospital
  • Uses MEDITECH as the charting system/EMR
  • Uses Plum IV pumps and Nihon Kohden cardiac monitors
  • 12-hour rotating day/night shifts with every 3rd weekend required
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • 13-week assignment length

  • Active MN RN license required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS or TNCC

  • MN NetStudy fingerprint requirements must be met for consideration
