Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg Stepdown Intermediate Care position in Wichita, KS, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a KS or compact RN license.

  • 50-bed general Med/Surg and observation unit with stepdown intermediate care capabilities
  • Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30 (12.5-hour shifts)
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active KS RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification (AHA only)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • MOAB De-Escalation Training required (Moderate Risk level)
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
  • Valid US Social Security Number and US home address required
  • Driver's license required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
Additional Information
  • Must commit to working both July 4th and Labor Day
  • Local candidates may be considered but may be subject to a reduced pay rate based on proximity to the facility
