Job Summary:
This Registered Nurse position is located in the Clinical Decision Unit (CDU), a unit connected to the Emergency Department (ED) for patients in observation before potential admission. The role involves providing skilled nursing care to patients in the CDU, with a focus on patient assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team. This is a night shift position.
Location:Emporia, Kansas, United States
Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Clinical Decision Unit.
  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to patient needs and emergencies promptly.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Required Skills & Certifications:
