Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the design, implementation, modernization, and transformation of enterprise data services
  • Architect and implement Azure-based data lakes, relational databases, and non-relational database solutions
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models that support business and technical requirements
  • Ensure data assets are properly structured, accessible, secure, and aligned with organizational goals
  • Recommend and evaluate data platforms, technologies, and architectural standards
  • Optimize data access patterns and database performance across multiple environments
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and architecture artifacts
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to meet compliance and security requirements
  • Design and support backup, recovery, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions
  • Support cloud integrations and enterprise data transformation initiatives
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
  • Assist with CI/CD implementation and automation of data platform deployments

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Database Architecture, Data Management, or similar enterprise data-focused roles
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and implementing Azure-based data solutions
  • Strong expertise with Azure Data Lakes, Azure SQL technologies, and cloud-native database architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Databricks in enterprise environments
  • Strong Oracle Database experience including administration, optimization, and architecture design
  • Experience creating and implementing data transformation solutions and cloud integrations
  • Experience developing scripts and programs to support Azure data loading and processing utilities
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data platforms
  • Solid knowledge of cloud computing concepts, patterns, and best practices
  • Experience using Azure Monitor, Azure Data Factory, SQL Analytics, Query Performance Insight, Azure Resource Manager, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
  • Strong understanding of access management, encryption, role-based access control, and network security principles
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to provide technical guidance and mentor other technology professionals

  • Experience with Data Warehouse Administration

Education & Certifications You Need
