The group you'll be a part of
The Customer Support Business Group focuses on enabling our customers with premier customer support throughout their lifecycle with Lam. We drive performance, productivity, safety, and quality of customers installed base performance and deliver service and lifecycle solutions for their most critical equipment and processes.
The impact you'll make
In a manufacturing environment, drives the long-range strategic planning process for operations by overseeing and managing all manufacturing operations, including manufacturing itself, production control, product engineering, manufacturing engineering, equipment engineering, inventory control, potential materials functions, such as purchasing, and shipping/receiving activities. Defines goals, improves technologies, and resolves problems in conjunction with managers of manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, and sales. Translates customer requirements into state-of-the-art manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in cost-effective processing and profitable manufacturing of company products. Develops operations-related plans, budgets, and policies and procedures. Maintains safety and regulatory compliance relating to the production facility. May direct international manufacturing operations. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
What you'll do
  • Interfaces with Product Management, Program Management, Pilot Operations and Engineering to deliver Dextro™ products to Lam's customers. Reports to Engineering CVP in CSBG. Design, lead, and manage Dextro™ operations to transition projects from Engineering Alpha build to customer shipment. Works closely with Dextro™ Engineering leadership to ensure rapid product development and release to customers per development slot plan.
  • Program Execution & Delivery: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, resource allocation, dependencies, and communicate project status to stakeholders. Identify business risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful tool delivery. Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress, manage changes, and ensure project documentation is up to date. Organize, lead, and facilitate both direct reports and cross-functional teams to support existing and new projects.
  • Metrics, Reporting & Analytics: Develop and maintain metrics for process measurement and identify key indicators for future improvement opportunities. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Utilize data and statistical techniques to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Leadership Communication: Communicate effectively with executive leadership and functional partners. Present complex information clearly and concisely to support decision-making. Build trusted relationships to drive alignment and execution.
  • People & Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead, coach and develop direct reports and matrixed team; set clear goals and performance expectations. Foster collaboration, inclusion, and shared ownership across a highly matrixed organization. Build organizational capabilities, effectiveness and bench strength through organizational development strategies.

Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience. An advanced degree preferred.

Preferred qualifications
• Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 5+ years of experience in program/project management or order fulfillment.
• Must have 5+ years of management experience, including 5+ years leading manufacturing teams to build / test and ship semiconductor related products.
• Must have 5+ years of experience creating workflows and implementing automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve productivity, using Alteryx and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Must have 3+ years of experience working across QuickBase, Smartsheet, WorkBoard, and SAP to create, collect, analyze, and interpret data, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Must have 3+ years of experience working with data analytics tools including Power BI.
• Must have 5+ years of experience with Bill of Materials structures, shortage management and capacity planning.
• Must have 5 year of experience working in the semiconductor industry on global programs or projects.
• Must have 3+ years working with suppliers for new product development, lead-time and cost reduction
• International travel required up to 10%.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
Salary
CA San Francisco Bay Area Salary Range for this position: $137,000.00 - $287,000.00.
The above salary range for this position is relevant to applicants that reside or work onsite in the California, San Francisco Bay Area only. Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Actual salary may vary from salary offered due to numerous factors including but not limited to unpaid time off, unpaid leave, company mandated shutdown, and other relevant factors.
