The Experience
Technical Program Managers (TPMs) play a meaningful role at Salesforce in leading large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology & Products organizations.
The Director of Technical Program Management for Security within Trust & Infrastructure will provide strategic and execution leadership across some of Salesforce's most critical security initiatives. You will lead a portfolio of complex, cross-functional security programs, partner with senior Security, Engineering, and Product leaders to establish strategy and priorities, and build the operating mechanisms required to deliver measurable security outcomes at scale. This role is based in San Francisco, Palo Alto, Bellevue, Seattle or Chicago.
What You'll Actually Be Doing
  • Lead and manage cross-functional security programs - partnering with Security, Engineering, and Product leaders to align on portfolio vision, strategy, and program scope, and cultivating executive relationships to drive strategic objectives.
  • Conduct program reviews to facilitate key decisions, eliminate roadblocks, and resolve issues, ensuring programs deliver on time.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks, orchestrate resolution of complex cross-functional dependencies, and ensure data is collected to inform decision-making.
  • Deliver transparent program status reporting with actionable insights on decisions, dependencies, risks, and metrics, while fostering a collaborative, innovative team culture.
