Job description

Lineage is the largest and most dynamic temperature-controlled warehousing & logistics company in the world, reimagining the global food supply chain to eliminate waste and help feed the world. We are a trusted, innovative partner to our customers, connecting them to communities worldwide with efficient supply chain solutions that preserve and protect food.
Our Product Management team drives this vision by leading Lineage's technology transformation - changing how customers and partners engage, how warehouses operate, how energy is used, and how food is processed and transported. We define, design, develop, and deliver transformative technology products that modernize the food supply chain through data-driven insights, intuitive digital experiences, and resilient solutions deployed at scale.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Product Management to lead our Data Solutions portfolio - the central data repositories that serve as Lineage's source of truth and the business tools built on top of them, including metricsOne, our proprietary KPI and performance management platform, and our enterprise reporting and analytics products. These products power decision-making and business management across every function and region of the company, from warehouse floor operations to the executive team, and form the data foundation for Lineage's analytics and AI ambitions.
In this role, you will take ownership of an established team of product managers and an existing product portfolio in active use worldwide, and you will be accountable for its next chapter: sharpening the strategy, raising the bar on product quality and adoption, evolving the platform to support advanced analytics and AI-driven capabilities, and ensuring that the business trusts - and acts on - the data these products deliver. You will operate at the intersection of product, data engineering, data science, and every business function that runs on our data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own the multi-year vision, strategy, and roadmap for Lineage's Data Solutions portfolio, spanning central data repositories, enterprise reporting, KPI and performance management tools, and analytics products.

  • Lead, coach, and develop an existing team of product managers and business analysts; set clear priorities, raise the standard of product craft, and build a healthy pipeline of talent.

  • Treat the data platform as a product: define and prioritize the capabilities, data domains, and quality standardsrequiredto serve both today's reporting needs and emerging analytics and AI use cases.

  • Partner with data engineering, data science, and enterprise architecture to align platform investment with product strategy, balancing new capability delivery against reliability, scalability, and technical debt.

  • Champion data trust across the enterprise - partner with data governance, finance, and operations stakeholders to ensure consistent definitions, certified metrics, anda single sourceof truth for business-critical reporting.

  • Drive adoption and measurable business impact:establishsuccess metrics for the portfolio, instrument usage, retire low-value assets, and hold the team accountable for outcomes rather than output.

  • Engage stakeholders from frontline warehouse leaders to the C-suite to understand decision-making needs, translate them into product requirements, and communicate the "why" behind roadmap choices.

  • Coordinate with product leaders across the technology organization to align roadmaps, share data capabilities, and ensure cohesive execution across interconnected products.

  • Facilitate annual and quarterly planning for the portfolio, making transparent trade-offs across value, scope, budget, resources, dependencies, and timelines.

  • Manage relationships with third-party development teams and technology vendors that contribute to the portfolio, ensuring quality and value for investment.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years directly managing and developing product managers.

  • Demonstrated success owning data, analytics, or business intelligence products - e.g., data platforms, enterprise reporting, KPI/dashboarding tools, or data-as-a-product initiatives - at enterprise scale.

  • Strong technical acumen with modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or equivalent), BI and visualization tools, and the fundamentals of data modeling, pipelines, and governance; able to engage credibly with engineers and data scientists.

  • Proven ability to inherit an existing product portfolio and team, quickly build credibility, and drive a step-change in strategy, execution, and outcomes.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical audiences and to influence stakeholders at every level, including the C-suite.

  • Proven ability to lead change in large, complex, global organizations, and comfortoperatingin a fast-paced, highly visible environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience delivering AI/ML-enabled product capabilities or preparing data platforms to support machine learning and generative AI use cases.

  • Experience inlogistics, supply chain, or other operationally intensive industries; warehouse operations exposure is a plus.

  • Experience with enterprise information management domains such as financial, operational, HR, or ESG reporting.

  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence) and analytical tools (SQL, Excel).

  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams and third-party development partners.
