Job description

Director, Partnerships (Business Development)

Atlanta, GA (60-70% Travel)

$110K - $125K Base | $185K - $215K OTE | Uncapped Commission

Who We Are

Curbee is one of the fastest-growing mobile service technology companies in automotive. We help dealerships launch, manage, and scale mobile service operations through our platform, M.A.R.S. (Mobile and Remote Service).

Our technology enables dealerships to send the right van, to the right job, with the right parts, at the right time... creating a better experience for customers while driving operational efficiency and profitability.

We're a scrappy, curious, and resourceful team that believes in working hard, having fun, and building something meaningful together. We spend time in the field with our Dealer Partners, collaborate closely across teams, and share in the success we create through equity ownership.

What You'll Do

As a Director, Partnerships, your primary responsibility is driving revenue growth by developing strategic relationships and acquiring new dealership partners. You'll work directly with dealer groups, fixed operations leaders, OEM stakeholders, and industry influencers to expand Curbee's footprint and accelerate adoption of mobile service.
Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with dealership groups, dealer principals, fixed operations leaders, OEM field teams, and industry partners
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Curbee's SaaS platform.
  • Create and execute territory and account strategies that generate qualified pipeline and drive revenue growth
  • Educate dealers and OEM partners on the business value of mobile service and how Curbee helps them scale successful programs
  • Represent Curbee at industry events, OEM meetings, 20 Groups, conferences, dealer associations, and partner events
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Leadership to develop go-to-market initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and sales opportunities
  • Maintain a consultative sales approach, helping prospects understand operational challenges and build business cases for mobile service adoption
  • Travel extensively throughout the region to develop relationships, uncover opportunities, and accelerate sales cycles

What Success Looks Like

As a Director, Partnerships at Curbee, you won't just acquire new Dealer Partners, you will drive the future of automotive service in this ever-growing market.

  • Drive Growth: Build and manage a healthy pipeline while consistently acquiring new Dealer Partners and expanding Curbee's presence across the automotive industry
  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Develop credibility with dealers and OEM partners by understanding their fixed operations challenges and aligning Curbee's solutions to their business goals
  • Expand Strategic Relationships: Build long-term partnerships that create mutual value and drive sustainable growth
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner closely with Dealer Success, Marketing, Product, and Leadership to ensure a seamless customer journey from prospect to partner
  • Represent the Brand: Serve as a visible ambassador for Curbee across the automotive ecosystem and help establish Curbee as the leader in mobile service technology

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a highly motivated relationship-builder who thrives in a consultative sales environment and enjoys creating opportunities where others see obstacles. You'll succeed at Curbee if you're:

  • Think it Thru (1-3-1): If there's a problem, think through 3 resolutions, and suggest 1 solution
  • Take the Monkey: Clear ownership wins. You take full responsibility for your work, but just because you're the owner, doesn't mean you're the only one. The team's got your back
  • CRG (Curious, Resourceful and Get Stuff Done): We know if you're highly curious, you'll use resources to help unblock things
  • Surprises are for Birthdays: That means everyone is constantly providing feedback, good and bad. No one in business likes surprises, unless it's your birthday
  • Natural Relationship-builder: You can develop trust quickly with executive-level stakeholders
  • A Team Player: You're fun to work with, collaborative and all about positive vibes
  • Adaptable: You flourish in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment

Requirements

  • 7+ years of business development, strategic sales, or partnerships experience
  • 5+ years selling software, technology, or automotive solutions into franchise dealerships (applicants not showcasing this, will not be considered)
  • Strong understanding of dealership operations, fixed operations, and dealer group decision-making.
  • Experience engaging with OEM field organizations and understanding OEM initiatives.
  • Proven track record of generating pipelines, closing business, and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60-70% regionally and nationally.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with dealership technology platforms such as Xtime, Tekion, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, and related solutions.
  • Understanding of mobile service, fixed operations consulting, or dealership transformation initiatives.
  • Comfortable using modern sales and collaboration tools including Zoom, Slack, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms.

What You'll Get

  • $110 - $125K Base Salary
  • $185 - 215K OTE with uncapped commission
  • Equity ownership
  • Comprehensive benefits
  • Unlimited PTO
  • The opportunity to help transform automotive service while making a significant impact at a high-growth company

If you're highly motivated, love tackling big challenges, and want to build a future you can be proud of (while sneaking in a cookie or two), we'd love to chat.
