You bring strong business acumen, sound judgment during critical incidents, and exceptional executive communication skills. You are equally comfortable developing long-term strategy, managing enterprise risk, improving operational performance, and leading teams through dynamic global security challenges.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and develop Regional Security Managers while driving consistency, accountability, and operational excellence across global security programs.
  • Oversee physical security operations for offices, laboratories, manufacturing environments, and other business locations worldwide.
  • Lead crisis management, emergency response, executive escalation, and incident readiness programs.
  • Advance the maturity and effectiveness of AMD's Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), including monitoring, intelligence, communications, and incident coordination.
  • Direct global risk assessments, threat analysis, vulnerability management, and mitigation planning.
  • Establish and govern global security policies, standards, SOPs, post orders, and control requirements.
  • Oversee secure logistics programs protecting prototypes, intellectual property, and high-value assets throughout the supply chain.
  • Manage security suppliers and service providers, ensuring performance, compliance, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop KPI, SLA, audit, and reporting programs that demonstrate security effectiveness and business value.
  • Support acquisitions, new-site development, major business initiatives, and operational integrations through security planning and due diligence.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen security culture, training, awareness, and organizational resilience.
  • Domestic and international travel required to support business operations, incident response, regional program reviews, and strategic initiatives.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Progressive leadership experience in corporate physical security with multi-regional or global responsibilities.
  • Experience leading enterprise security operations, crisis management programs, GSOC functions, and distributed teams.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security risk management, access control, video surveillance, alarm monitoring, investigations, and incident management.
  • Experience developing global security policies, standards, metrics, executive reporting, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Demonstrated success managing third-party security providers, service contracts, budgets, KPIs, and SLAs.
  • Experience within semiconductor, advanced technology, R&D, manufacturing, or other high-value intellectual property environments.
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, secure logistics, executive protection, major events, or site expansions.
  • Familiarity with global regulatory, privacy, labor, and compliance considerations impacting physical security operations.
  • Experience leveraging analytics, automation, and modern security technologies to improve performance and situational awareness.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business, Risk Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
