Job description

As a Test Engineer Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of engineers to execute testing activities, ensuring high-quality product delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and provide technical guidance.
You will report directly to our Engineering Director/Site Lead and you'll work out of our Boulder City, NV location on an On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall effectiveness of the test engineering team by supervising and coaching team members, setting daily schedules, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety and security protocols.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach the test engineering team to enhance individual performance and achieve personal goals. Lead and supervise the test engineering team, offering coaching and mentorship to technicians. Set clear objectives and provide constructive feedback to help team members progress in their careers.
  • Set daily schedules and manage workflow to ensure timely completion of tasks. Develop and manage daily schedules and workloads for the team to ensure efficient operations and timely project completion.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. identify strengths and areas for improvement and facilitating professional development of technician team.
  • Perform security and safety audits to maintain compliance with company standards.
  • Facilitate training sessions and other duties assigned by site leadership. Plan and conduct training sessions for staff on new procedures, tools, and technologies to enhance team capabilities and safety awareness.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by site leadership, supporting the overall goals and initiatives of the organization.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in coaching and guiding technicians to enhance their individual performance and achieve personal goals.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Strong leadership and communication skills. Proven leadership abilities with a track record of improving individual performance and achieving team objectives.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and industry standards.
  • Knowledge of safety and security protocols in an engineering environment.
