Your Role

As a Director / Sr. Director, you will be responsible for leading strategic client engagements, driving growth, and overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale Digital Engineering and Product Engineering transformation programs across the Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Manufacturing, and Oil & Gas industries. This role plays a critical part in expanding Capgemini Invent's Digital Engineering presence, developing client relationships, and driving innovation-enabled business transformation.

 
Role Expectations:
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, including proposals, client presentations, and contract pursuits.
  • Partner with clients to identify opportunities for value creation through PLM, Manufacturing, AI, GenAI, data, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and drive end-to-end Engineering transformation roadmaps with executive client stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute Digital Engineering transformation strategies aligned with client objectives and business priorities.
  • Lead the design and delivery of large-scale Product Engineering and Engineering Software transformation programs.
  • Define and industrialize target operating models, governance structures, and execution frameworks.
  • Establish and lead PMO, VRO, and governance functions to ensure successful program execution.
  • Grow and scale the Digital Engineering practice by leveraging an established professional network to attract, recruit, and develop top talent.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with clients, ensuring long-term partnership and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams while providing mentorship, coaching, and career development opportunities.
  • Assess and manage project and operational risks, ensuring successful delivery and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate across Capgemini Invent offerings to bring integrated solutions and cross-capability value to clients.
  • Drive thought leadership, innovation, and market presence through industry engagement, publications, speaking opportunities, and professional networking.
  • Travel as required to support client engagements and business development activities.
Qualifications & Experience

We would love to see candidates with:

  • 12+ years of consulting, industry, or Digital Engineering leadership experience, with demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Experience establishing and leading major Product Engineering transformation programs.
  • Proven success delivering large Engineering Software and Digital Engineering engagements.
  • Experience designing and implementing target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation execution models.
  • Strong experience establishing PMO, VRO, governance, and program management functions.
  • Deep understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Manufacturing technologies, and Engineering transformation.
  • Demonstrated business development success, including sales pursuits, proposal development, and revenue growth.
  • Experience managing and selling multi-capability and cross-functional consulting engagements.
  • Strong knowledge of AI, GenAI, and data-driven approaches within Engineering and product development environments.
  • Experience leveraging AI/GenAI solutions to enhance decision-making, automate processes, and improve operational performance.
  • Strong executive presence with exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated success building, leading, mentoring, and scaling high-performing consulting or industry teams.
  • Established network within Digital Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Oil & Gas, or related industries.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MBA, Engineering, or related field) preferred.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $180,000 to $280,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
