Job description

The Director, Oracle Fusion Cloud and Supply Chain Logistics is accountable for the strategy, integration, implementation, and operational stability of QXO's transportation, delivery execution, and logistics technology platforms. This role is critical to ensuring scalability, operational excellence, and business continuity across Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Last Mile Delivery, and related Oracle Supply Chain applications.

What you'll do:
  • Lead strategy, design, configuration, implementation, and operational support for Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Fareye Last Mile Delivery, and related Oracle Supply Chain logistics platforms.
  • Drive end-to-end transportation and logistics transformation initiatives supporting Oracle Cloud migration and modernization programs.
  • Lead all phases of transportation platform implementations including architecture, integrations, testing, cutover planning, hypercare, and operational stabilization.
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Transportation, Delivery Operations, and Customer Experience leadership to align system capabilities with operational goals and growth strategies.
  • Oversee transportation integrations, carrier connectivity, EDI/API data exchanges, shipment visibility platforms, and third-party logistics provider integrations.
  • Own platform governance, configuration management, operational support processes, data integrity, and system scalability across transportation and delivery ecosystems.
  • Lead transportation workflow optimization initiatives including routing, dispatching, carrier management, freight settlement, delivery execution, proof of delivery, and customer delivery visibility.
  • Direct the design and implementation of scalable automation, operational reporting, KPI dashboards, and logistics analytics solutions.
  • Lead issue resolution, escalation management, platform upgrades, release management, and testing cycles across transportation and logistics systems.
  • Support acquisition onboarding activities by integrating newly acquired business operations into Oracle transportation and delivery platforms.
  • Partner with ERP, WMS, Finance, Procurement, and Customer Operations teams to ensure end-to-end process alignment across the enterprise supply chain ecosystem.
  • Manage vendor relationships, implementation partners, transportation technology providers, and operational SLAs.
  • Build and lead a high-performing logistics systems organization capable of supporting rapid enterprise growth and operational transformation.

What you'll bring:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT leadership with direct responsibility for supply chain enterprise systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion SCM, including Oracle Transportation Management.
  • Proven expertise in Oracle WMS, OTM and Last Mile Delivery, including implementation and ongoing support.
  • Demonstrated success leading conversions from legacy ERP systems to Oracle Cloud, including full go-live execution.
  • Deep understanding of distribution, fulfillment, and transportation business processes.
  • Experience with complex multi-site, multi-vendor environments and logistics operations.
  • Strong technical knowledge of integration strategies, middleware, and data exchange methods.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with a track record of cross-functional collaboration.

Travel
  • Travel will be required to support Oracle SCM and transportation modernization initiatives. 50%+
