Job description


I. Job Summary
Provides business optimization and operations solutions leadership within the assigned operations group(s) and is recognized across the area for broad operations expertise. This Director level role is responsible for implementing optimization solutions to operations process issues and inefficiencies. 
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Works collaboratively with Operations Directors, HR, Safety, and Collections Leaders by contributing strategic vison and integrating a broad range of operation solutions services.
  • Responsible for the successful execution and deliverance of operations business solutions in specific area(s) of responsibility. This includes responsibility for Operations Solutions Team budgets, performance achievement, specific objectives and stakeholder buy-in.
  • Provides guidance and consistent communication of Operations Solutions strategy to all stakeholders.
  • Considers operational performance and/or process and systems analyses and the recommended changes and understands the implications to the current and future operations environment.
  • Will work to harmonize the work products and solutions produced within the Operations Solutions team with Operations Leaders and Partners.
  • Coordinates and integrates Operations Solutions Centers of Expertise with a large scope and complexity within designated operating lines of business.
  • Contributes a high level of expertise in business performance processes and systems analysis while considering the business implications to the current and future business environment.
  • Responsible for providing support and guidance in the areas of Operation Solutions services such as Dispatch, Fleet operations, Operations Improvement, SDO/MSDO, Acquisition integration, Operations training programs.
  • Works with internal and external customers, suppliers and other partners to resolve problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine and institutionalize solutions.
  • Drives designated operational area(s) toward achieving business results through operations solutions strategies.
  • Responsible for developing and retaining talent to ensure that people with the right skills and motivations are in the right place at the right time to meet business needs.

  • Bachelor's Degree (accredited) or in lieu of degree
  • High School Diploma or GED (accredited)
  • 4 years of relevant work experience
  • 10+ years of previous related work experience (in addition to education requirements)

Pay: The expected base pay range for this office/on-site position is $167,640 - $260,337. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
