Le/la Directeur/trice National(e) Amelioration de la performance, sera responsable de la definition, de l'amelioration et de la mise en uvre de la vision et des outils d'amelioration continue se rapportant a tous les domaines cles de la chaine d'approvisionnement de McKesson Canada. Il ou elle jouera un role determinant dans l'elaboration et l'influence de la culture d'excellence au sein des operations, mettre en place notre centre d'excellence et travaillera en etroite collaboration avec les directeurs des operations, pour batir et maintenir les indicateurs cles de la performance. Responsabilites specifiques

Gestion des relations

  • Influencer positivement les directeurs dans l'ensemble de l'organisation pour garantir que les activites d'amelioration de la performance recoivent le soutien necessaire sur nos sites et qu'elles disposent des ressources adequates pour garantir une mise en uvre appropriee et opportune des solutions.

Direction de personnel

  • Diriger, encadrer, developper et promouvoir les equipes de gestion et les membres du personnel afin de contribuer a elever le niveau de competence en matiere d'amelioration de la performance.

  • Veiller a ce que les membres de la gestion et de l'equipe recoivent la formation et les conseils adequats pour pouvoir accompagner, former et conseiller les agents de changement au sein de l'entreprise afin d'atteindre les objectifs en matiere d'excellence operationnelle.

Leadership operationnel

  • Etablir et promouvoir une culture d'excellence operationnelle dans l'ensemble de la distribution, en identifiant les occasions et en mettant en uvre des processus conformes aux pratiques exemplaires.

  • Developper et mettre en uvre des initiatives et des projets strategiques a l'echelle nationale.

  • Detenir et surveiller la synchronisation des POS nationaux dans tous les centres de distribution.

  • Etre un acteur cle afin d'ameliorer continuellement l'efficacite des operations, notamment le taux de couverture, les livraisons ponctuelles, l'exactitude, la productivite, l'integrite des produits et les couts.

Centre d'excellence nationale

  • Promouvoir la culture d'excellence.

  • Developper et ameliorer le centre national d'excellence operationnelle.

  • Definir la strategie de mise en uvre du systeme d'excellence operationnelle.

  • Perfectionner et fournir la formation aux equipes de gestion.

  • Garantir l'usage des principes Lean dans notre chaine d'approvisionnement.

  • Evaluer les opportunites d'integration des solutions d'intelligence artificielle dans nos processus d'affaire et mise en place de celles-ci.

Cadre de gestion

  • Creer et mettre en uvre les routines et les outils du cadre de gestion entourant l'amelioration de la performance dans nos centres de distribution (14).

  • Definir la strategie de mise en uvre du cadre de gestion.

  • Perfectionner et fournir la formation aux equipes de gestion.

  • Veiller a ce que les pratiques exemplaires en matiere de gestion soient utilisees sur nos differents sites.

Audits sur la performance nationale

  • Responsable de l'integrite des processus au sein du reseau de distribution.

  • Creer et surveiller les programmes d'audits sur la performance nationale.

  • Effectuer un suivi des mesures correctives.

  • Emettre des recommandations pour les sites.

  • Recueillir et partager les pratiques exemplaires.

Surveillance de l'indicateur cle de performance (ICP) et integrite des donnees

  • Contribuer activement a la vision et a l'exercice budgetaire, valider et hierarchiser les projets comme l'amenagement du centre de distribution, l'optimisation de l'entreposage, la planification des itineraires, le flux des marchandises, la planification des capacites, l'inventaire (grille d'echeances, DOH, risques et dommages), la qualite et les services.

  • Travailler avec l'equipe analytique des donnees pour creer des indicateurs cles de performance (ICP) principaux et secondaires afin de soutenir notre strategie.

Gestion du programme

  • Travailler en collaboration avec les operations des ventes et d'approvisionnement afin de definir une planification optimale de nos programmes saisonniers.

Exigences du poste
  • Posseder un minimum de 10ans d'experience dans un poste semblable, de gestion ou d'amelioration continue associe a une comprehension soutenue de la chaine d'approvisionnement, de la gestion de l'inventaire, du flux de marchandise ou des operations de production au sein des centres de distribution.

  • Un diplome en ingenierie ou en administration est un atout.

  • Faire preuve d'une experience reconnue en mise en uvre d'un systeme d'excellence dans un environnement compose de plusieurs sites.

  • Etre organise(e) et methodique, avec une methode de travail minutieuse.

  • Posseder des aptitudes reconnues en resolution de probleme, etre axe(e) sur les details et posseder des capacites de prises de decisions.

  • Posseder une experience solide en matiere de normes de travail de l'ingenierie.

  • La connaissance de Lean Six Sigma est un atout.

  • Posseder de solides competences de presentation et une capacite a montrer les possibilites tout en inspirant les equipes.

  • Excellente aptitude en communication orale et ecrite.

The National Director, Operational Excellence, willbe responsible fordefining, improving, and implementing the vision and tools for continuous improvement across all key areas of McKesson Canada's supply chain. He or she will play a key role in developing and influencing a culture of excellence within operations,establishinga center of excellence, and working closely with Operations Directors to build andmaintainkey performance indicators. Responsibilities include developing and implementing training programs, standard processes, standard improvement methods, and management routines to ensure sustainable improvement in supply chain performance. The candidate must have strong interpersonal communication skills and lean managementexpertiseto successfully drive this cultural change.

Specific Responsibilities


Relationship Management

  • Positively influence directors across the organization to ensure that performance improvement initiatives receive the necessary support at sites and are properly resourced fortimelyimplementation.

People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, develop, and promote management teams and staff members.

  • Ensure that management and team members receiveappropriate trainingand guidance to support and coach change agents across the organization.

Operational Leadership

  • Establish and promote a culture of operational excellence across distribution.

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives at a national level.

  • Own andmonitoralignment of national SOPs across distribution centers.

  • Act as a key driver in improving operational efficiency including service levels, on-time delivery, accuracy, productivity, product integrity, and costs.

National Center of Excellence

  • Promote Culture of Excellence

  • Develop and enhance the national operational excellence center.

  • Define the implementation strategy.

  • Deliver trainingtomanagement teams.

  • Ensure application of Lean principles across the supply chain.

  • Evaluate artificial intelligence integration opportunities in our business processes and support implementation of these solutions.

Management Framework

  • Implement management routines and tools across 14 distribution centers.

  • Define framework strategy.

  • Train management teams.

  • Ensurebestpractices are applied across all sites.

National Performance Audits

  • Ensure process integrity across the network.

  • Develop andmonitoraudit programs.

  • Track corrective actions.

  • Provide site recommendations.

KPI Monitoring and Data Integrity

  • Support planning and budgeting and prioritize projects including layout, warehouse optimization, routing, flow, capacity, inventory, quality, and services.

  • Work with analytics teams to develop KPIs.

Program Management

  • Collaborate with sales and supply operations tooptimizeseasonal program planning.

Job Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar management or continuous improvement role, combined with a strong understanding of supply chain, inventory management, merchandise flow, or production operations within distribution centers.

  • A degree in engineering or business administration is an asset.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing a system of excellence in a multi-site environment.

  • Be organized and methodical, with a meticulous work approach.

  • Possess proven problem-solving skills, a focus on detail, and strong decision-making abilities.

  • Have solid experience with engineering work standards.

  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma is an asset.

  • Possess strong presentation skills and the ability to demonstrate possibilities while inspiring teams.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to plan and lead facilitation sessions.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is a requirement.

  • Willingness to travel (20%-50% of working time).

  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and the ability to apply them at McKesson.
