Job description

About the Company

We are a rapidly growing technology company operating at the intersection of artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and cloud computing. As the business continues to scale, we are investing heavily in building the teams and systems required to support significant long-term growth.

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Technical Recruiting to lead talent acquisition across Product, Engineering, IT, and Security.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for both delivering immediate hiring results and building the recruiting infrastructure needed to support the companyโ€™s next phase of growth.

You will inherit an established technical recruiting foundation and be responsible for scaling it into a world-class talent acquisition organization. You will lead and develop recruiting managers, recruiters, and sourcers supporting technical hiring across the organization.

The ideal candidate views recruiting as a strategic operating capability and competitive advantage, with a strong focus on quality, speed, scalability, and accountability.

Candidates willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area may be considered.

What Youโ€™ll Be Working On

  • Lead talent acquisition across Product, Engineering, IT, and Security, aligning hiring plans with business priorities and growth objectives.
  • Build and scale a technical recruiting organization that operates with speed, efficiency, judgment, and consistency.
  • Mentor and develop recruiting managers and build leadership depth across the recruiting organization.
  • Partner closely with engineering executives and hiring leaders to drive role clarity, calibration, and accountability for hiring outcomes.
  • Develop a more proactive and predictable recruiting model while maintaining hiring velocity.
  • Improve intake, workflow, and decision-making processes to eliminate bottlenecks and strengthen stakeholder and candidate experience.
  • Translate technical hiring demand into structured hiring plans and identify talent gaps, timing risks, and recruiting capacity constraints.
  • Use data and analytics to evaluate recruiting funnel performance, forecast risk, and continuously improve hiring outcomes.
  • Implement AI, automation, and modern recruiting technology to improve efficiency and allow recruiters to focus on higher-value work.
  • Navigate complex hiring across infrastructure, cloud, platform, engineering, and security disciplines.
  • Ensure candidates, hiring managers, and recruiting team members experience a responsive, fair, and high-quality recruiting process.

What Youโ€™ll Bring

  • 10+ years of talent acquisition experience, including experience building and scaling technical recruiting organizations in high-growth environments.
  • Experience leading recruiting across Engineering and Product, with additional experience in IT and/or Security strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience using recruiting data and analytics to diagnose funnel performance, forecast risk, and drive accountability.
  • Experience running a metrics-driven recruiting organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing recruiting managers, not only individual contributors.
  • Track record of developing recruiting leaders and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience operating within both scaled organizations and high-growth or startup environments.
  • Experience supporting organizations through significant headcount expansion.
  • Ability to build repeatable recruiting processes and scalable systems without sacrificing execution speed.
  • Strong executive and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • High level of urgency, ownership, and accountability for hiring outcomes.
  • Interest in applying AI, automation, and emerging technology to recruiting operations.
