Position Summary

As Dynamis Power Solutions charts a strategic path towards accelerated growth within the power generation market, we are in pursuit of an astute Director of Business Development. This pivotal role is designed to spearhead our expansion efforts by identifying and forging new client relationships, specifically within the realm of new-build power generation equipment. The successful candidate will embody a strategic vision, coupled with an unwavering drive, to propel Dynamis Power Solutions toward achieving market leadership and sustained growth.

Essential Functions
  • Lead and own Dynamisโ€™ pursuit of new-build power generation orders.
  • Own the Dynamis go-to-market strategy and implementation.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing strategy for the organization.
  • Own existing and new customer relationships to ensure mutual success for all partners.
  • Develop and manage new business sales pipeline with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business opportunities across all applicable markets.
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources.
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals.
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers; meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.
  • Assist the company in positioning the Dynamis platform as the platform of choice for mobile power generation.
  • Use technical acumen and relationships with the operations team to ensure a successful transition to operations with new clients.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Qualifications
  • Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Valid U.S. Driverโ€™s License required; employment contingent upon meeting company driving standards and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Daily in-person, predictable attendance required.
  • Technical degree in Power Generation required; bachelorโ€™s degree in business development or relevant field considered.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Power Generation sales.
Skills, Competencies, and Abilities
  • Financial acumen to build proposals that meet company financial targets.
  • Proven ability to plan and manage to achieve challenging targets.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with minimal direction.
  • Extensive relationships within the E&P sector โ€“ executive level highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Strategic, critical, and creative thinker with strong business sense.
  • Ability to work within cross-functional team environments.
Physical Requirements / Work Environment

The position requires walking, sitting, climbing, bending, reaching, and kneeling. Occasional driving for business necessity is required. The work environment includes dynamic office-based tasks, field activities, and interactions with internal colleagues, executive management, and clients. The role may involve exposure to hazardous materials, operating conditions up to 85 dB, and inclement weather. Personal protective equipment may be required.
