Job description

The Director of Technical Services is focused on ensuring the business unit is meeting all accreditation and quality requirements, with a strong emphasis on the business unit's continuous improvement within these domains. 

Individuals in this role will focus on four dimensions of responsibility: Technical Performance Management & Program Compliance, Operational Quality Improvement, Training & Development, and Business Development Support.

Education and Experience:

  • 5 or more years of boiler and pressure vessel experience as Inspector and/or Supervisor Code Services
  • Holds a NB 'B' endorsement or has appropriate background to obtain 'B' endorsement
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Desired: Hold external qualifications/certifications [e.g. CWI, NDE Certifications, etc.]

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Technical writing skills
  • Quality improvement processes and management
  • Problem solving skills; must be inquisitive and willing to carry out research
  • Public speaking
