Job description

Future is looking for a Global Head of Studio to lead the commercial creative development and content execution engine within Future Creative. This is a dual-mandate role: equal parts creative architect and production leader.

The Global Head of Studio manages the entire content creation pipeline from concept through delivery, working in direct partnership with editorial Creative Strategy and programming to develop commercial content IP, and content solutions. You will own creative development and content production across the full 360 creative formats, line production management, and post-production workflow orchestration.

You will build a 360-degree creative IP commercial development and content, media, experiential and product solution packaging, overseeing commercial output and Enterprise, Trade promo collaterals.

What You'll Do

You will report into the SVP, Future Creative

  • Creative Development & IP Execution: Partner with Creative Strategy and editorial leads (Director of Video & Social Strategy) taking the content IP and franchises from development concept to production-ready programming and commercial briefs. Translate brand strategies and franchise IP architecture into executable production and programming plans with clear milestones, resource requirements, and commercial integration points. Manage the creative process including format execution, commercial packaging, and production cycles.
  • Content Production Management: Oversee all content production across video (long-form, short-form, vertical), social, podcast, and experiential formats. Manage line production including budgets, schedules, crew, locations, and vendor relationships. Ensure production quality meets Future's editorial standards and Future Creative's commercial standards across all output types.
  • Production and Freelance Network: Build and manage a global freelance production network covering creative development, photography, video, social media execution, producers, agency producers, and other on set production support. Establish service-level agreements, rate cards, and quality benchmarks. Manage production services budget and vendor relationships. Ensure the network can flex to meet seasonal demand and tentpole production peaks.
  • Post-Production Workflows: Coordinate with the Global Head of Post-Production and production services to ensure seamless handoff from production to post. Define editorial and commercial post-production requirements. Manage approval workflows between editorial leads, commercial partners, and production teams.
  • Programming & Planning: Collaborate with editorial content leads to align production schedules with editorial IP programming slates. Manage quarterly production planning, resource allocation, and capacity forecasting. Build programming calendars that serve both editorial franchise commitments and commercial partnership deliverables.
  • Commercial Collateral: Manage resourcing of production of all commercial materials: sizzle reels, case studies, brand films, pitch videos, event content, and experiential capture. Ensure commercial output is delivered at the quality standard that positions Future Creative as a premium content partner.
  • Studio Operations and Infrastructure: Establish and manage purpose-ready studio operations in US and UK. Develop freelance production networks. Implement production management tools and systems. Promote AI and automation integration into production workflows in partnership with the enterprise AI team.
Experience That Will Put You Ahead Of The Curve
  • 12-18+ years in studio leadership, content production, or creative operations at a media company, production house, or creative agency
  • Experience managing full-cycle content production: development, pre-production, production, post-production, and delivery
  • Track record building and scaling studio operations across multiple formats (long-form video, social, podcast, and experiential)
  • Experience managing both editorial and commercial content pipelines simultaneously
  • Background in franchise IP, commercial content dev and packaging, development and serial content production( commercial and
