Salesforce Developer

As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for developing business features and technical capabilities. You will be highly familiar with our core data models and APIs in Salesforce and internal data systems and how Opportunities, Accounts, Contacts, and Leads map to key business processes in our Sales and Client Success groups. You will drive the implementation and delivery of development projects and work directly with technical leaders as well as Product Owners, and business stakeholders to ensure the success of your projects.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing and deploying solutions using Apex, Lightning Components and Flows. You must be able to communicate well with end-users and stakeholders who have varying levels of technical aptitude.

Responsibilities of Salesforce Developer:
  • Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis, development, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Work with product Owners to drive strategic value through custom applications built on salesforce.
  • Work closely with SDETs and DevOps Engineers to ensure high quality code is promoted to higher environments
  • Utilize the Jira project management software to navigate and track development progression from start to finish.
  • Develop Salesforce solutions to business workflow and analytics requirements
  • Adept technically with custom objects, validation rules, workflows, process automation, reporting, and dashboards.
  • In partnership with the scrum team, PO, and stakeholders to map requirements to Salesforce capabilities with a bias for using built-in capabilities in lieu of custom development where possible
  • Participate as a member of a scrum team/squad as we create software solutions in two-week sprint cycles; attend backlog grooming sessions, daily standups, sprint retro’s, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems or changes to the systems, collaborating with Business System Support and Projects Team when necessary.
  • Creates application changes, development, and installation of upgrades and new releases with support of other Business System team members, as necessary.
  • Responsible for maintaining the overall org health of our Salesforce environment and closely follows our company policies for Change Control and Security.
  • Develop high-quality, scalable applications with Visual force, Apex, and Lightning frameworks (Aura and/or LWC), as well as declarative- and configuration-driven development.
  • Assist Scrum Masters in formulating requirements, advises on alternatives and on the implications of new or revised processing analysis.
Experience of Salesforce Developer:
  • Create build flows, Lightning pages, process automations and related configuration
  • Hands on experience with Visual Studio Code and Git repository for development
  • Understanding of the CI/CD DevOps Process
  • Experience in using Github
  • Knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
