Qualifications
Strong track record of performance in solution sales to the C suite
You are either already leading a sales team or you are ready to move up from being a high-performance salesperson into a management role
Ideally a book of previous C suite clients and prospects that you could go back to with our different solution
Ability to train and coach sales staff to grow their results
Understand, communicate and sell sophisticated solutions
Motivated self-starter
Ability to converse and deal with people at all levels, including C suite
Ability to grow a sales team with profitable results
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
Well developed negotiating skills
Analytical, able to uncover prospect needs and device solutions to address them
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel & Outlook
Training/coaching defined sales systems
BS degree Engineering (preferred) 


Responsibilities
The position reports directly to the CEO
The sales team will function as the external, proactive face of the company
Development and implementation of strategic sales plans
Responsible for reaching and exceeding sales goals and objectives
Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with the sales representatives
Meets with key clients to maintain relationships and to negotiate and close deals
Coordinates liaison between sales department and engineering
Prepares weekly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
Contributes to the final shaping of solutions/proposals of his team's opportunities
Responsible for training and development of sales associates
Individual contributor as well as assisting sales staff close their deals
Achieves sales team activity targets
Client satisfaction
You can lead by example with personal sales as well as training, developing, and assisting your sales team to achieve and exceed their sales goals
