This position is in **Raleigh, NC** and is a hybrid position, requiring 2-3 days a week in office. This position reports to the Chief Technology Officer.**What will I do as the Director of Software Engineering at SoftPro?*** Plan, guide and direct all development, quality assurance (QA) and application security activities on our SaaS platform.* Be a thought and process leader and mentor for all team members.* Advocate for. Implement and measure the outcomes of an AI assisted and/or Agentic AI SDLC.* Working closely with Product teams, ensure that both functional and non-functional requirements are correctly prioritized and delivered on time and budget.* Create opportunities for teams to reduce technical debt, increase code coverage and quality throughout the software lifecycle.* Hire, nurture and retain strong technical talent across all teams.* Ensure that all Software Development efforts follow organizational policies, procedures and industry best practices.**What do I need to be successful as the Director of Software Engineering at SoftPro?*** **Education** + A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Engineering is required; a master's degree would be preferred.
