This position oversees preventive maintenance, capital projects, compliance initiatives, and engineering team leadership to support outstanding owner and guest experiences.

  • Lead, coach, develop, and manage the Engineering team.
  • Oversee maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, pool, life safety, and building systems.
  • Direct preventive maintenance, asset preservation, and energy management programs.
  • Manage capital improvement projects, renovations, and contractor relationships.
  • Develop and manage department budgets, inventory, purchasing, and payroll.
  • Conduct facility inspections and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead emergency preparedness and response efforts.
  • Maintain engineering systems and preventive maintenance software.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.

  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, maintenance programs, contractors, and facility operations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Hospitality, resort, hotel, or vacation ownership experience.
  • CPO and/or HVAC certifications.
  • 7+ years of related experience and 4+ years of leadership experience.
  • Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and engineering management software.
  • Japanese language (read, speak, write)
