The Director of ACCS Technologies will lead the strategy, innovation, architecture, and implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions in the areas of Audio, Cameras, Communications, & Sensing technologies for PS PCs and Docks. They will oversee a team of engineering experts and collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as key technology partners to drive innovation and deliver high-quality products that align with HP's strategic & business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ACCS technologies engineering team, setting clear objectives and ensuring alignment with BPS' vision and values to architect and deliver the human interface and experience layer for AI PCs and connected devices.
  • Drive the research, development, and integration of new technologies into product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Develop the strategic technology strategies to achieve differentiated & best in class experiences with HP devices.
  • Collaborate with product management, TCs, and sales teams to understand market needs, customer asks, and translate them into engineering requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative culture of innovation, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and approaches to problem-solving.
  • Manage the engineering project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of projects within budget and scope.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, vendors, and research institutions to stay abreast of technological advancements.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and development.

Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
  • Bachelor's or master's in computer science or business management or equivalent degrees
  • 10 or more years of related work experience, including 10 or more years of people management experience at a global scale.
  • Experience in both Business Development, Customer, and/or Engineering organization is preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading successful engineering teams and delivering innovative products.
  • A win-win mindset and action-oriented change agent
  • Strong understanding of technologies and their application in product development.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The pay range for this role is 190,000.00 - 274,000.00 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
