Job description

At New Story Schools, we serve students ages 5–21 with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. Guided by individualized learning, therapeutic integration, and collaboration, we empower students to grow and prepare for meaningful adult lives. Join our team and help students write their new story.

As the Director of Schools & Services at New Story Schools, you will oversee systems that support students with complex learning and behavioral needs. Your leadership ensures IEP compliance, strengthens collaboration, and promotes positive outcomes for students and families

What You’ll Need

  • Master’s degree in special education, ABA, social work, or a related field

  • Must have Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching certification (Instructional Level I or II)

  • At least two years of experience in a lead role supporting students with learning or behavioral challenges

  • Strong knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements

  • Ability to collaborate, lead training, and build relationships with families and districts

  • Ensure IEP compliance and alignment with educational and clinical practices

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to implement school initiatives and programs

  • Lead and participate in the IEP process, including meetings and documentation

  • Coordinate staff training and professional development to strengthen practice
