Position Overview

The Ghoman Group is seeking an experienced and highly organized Director of Construction to oversee construction, renovation, and capital improvement projects across the company's hospitality properties. The Director of Construction will be responsible for managing projects from initial planning and budgeting through completion while ensuring quality, safety, timelines, and budgets are maintained.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and experience managing contractors, architects, engineers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all construction, renovation, remodeling, and capital improvement projects.

  • Develop project budgets, schedules, scopes of work, and timelines.

  • Manage projects from planning and design through construction and final completion.

  • Coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.

  • Review construction plans, drawings, specifications, and contracts.

  • Solicit and evaluate contractor and vendor proposals.

  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, change orders, and project terms.

  • Monitor project costs and ensure projects remain within approved budgets.

  • Conduct regular job-site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.
