Position Details

Primary Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage the organization's Risk Management Program.
  • Oversee Occupational Health, Infection Control, Environment of Care, and Joint Commission readiness.
  • Coordinate all Joint Commission preparation activities, surveys, and regulatory updates.
  • Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Promote employee health and workplace safety through occupational health initiatives.
  • Lead infection prevention education and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
  • Monitor regulatory compliance and support continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Order and oversee clinical supplies and equipment while coordinating maintenance and staff training.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to improve patient safety and operational excellence.
Qualifications
  • Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Registered Nurse.
  • Current, unrestricted North Carolina licensure.
  • Minimum of three years of nursing or advanced practice experience.
  • Previous experience in Risk Management, Infection Control, Quality, or Healthcare Leadership preferred.
  • Additional coursework or certification in Risk Management and/or Infection Control preferred.
  • Current BLS certification (Instructor certification preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
