Our Inspired Living at Alpharetta senior living community is currently seeking a Director of Resident Experience to lead the vision for creating meaningful experiences that help residents connect, engage, explore, and thrive.
What You'll Do
  • Lead the community's Resident Experience program, creating meaningful daily experiences based on residents' interests, preferences, and abilities.
  • Get to know residents personally and ensure their voices help shape the activities and experiences offered.
  • Develop and manage a dynamic monthly calendar featuring social, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and recreational opportunities.
  • Coordinate entertainment, special events, celebrations, outings, and community partnerships.
  • Create engaging experiences that encourage residents to participate, connect, and build friendships.
  • Plan quarterly signature events in partnership with Sales & Marketing that celebrate residents while showcasing the community.
  • Coordinate transportation and outings, including medical appointments, sightseeing, shopping, entertainment, and special destinations.
  • Manage the Resident Experience budget and make thoughtful decisions regarding supplies, entertainment, vendors, and events.
  • Lead, coach, and support team members while creating a positive and energetic department culture.
  • Collaborate with community leadership and other departments to create a whole-community experience.
  • Promote activities throughout the community and continually find creative ways to increase resident engagement.
  • Ensure activities and outings are conducted safely and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.

What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Recreation, Business, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership or management experience with the ability to lead and develop a team.
  • 3+ years of assisted living or senior living experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Creative, energetic, and comfortable taking the lead.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine passion for serving older adults.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, events, and moving parts.
  • A natural ability to turn "What if we tried this?" into "That was amazing!"
