Job description

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer (potential Director of Quality) to define 'quality' in our industry and subsequently implement standards for excellence in care and enhanced living that far exceed the traditional standards of care (e.g., fall prevention, bed sores) that are currently mandated and measured by state agencies. This is a green-space; the successful candidate must be capable of influencing stakeholders without direct control while architecting solutions and approaches in a change-resistant environment using established tools and approaches (see below).

Wesley Enhanced Living is a Retirement community comprising six locations in the Greater Philadelphia area providing independent living, personal care, and skilled nursing services to senior adults. Skills & Requirements
Knowledge / Specific Skills Required:
  • Application of Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) preferred
  • Statistical quality control (SPC)
  • Predictive statistical methods / tools
  • Strong experience utilizing and implementing continuous improvement methodologies and techniques (i.e., Six Sigma, LEAN, 5S, Kaizen)

Experience Required:
  • 5 to 7 years as a Quality Engineer
  • 10+ years to be considered for Director level position
