Essential Responsibilities:
  • The Director of Nursing is responsible for leading the skilled nursing team to ensure high standards of quality and delivering excellent care to patients.
  • Ensure that each nurse on staff is properly certified and abides by the standards for care established by our organization and state and federal laws.
  • Responsible for creating new policies and updating existing policies to help improve the level of care for each patient. Implement quality improvement programs designed to help us deliver the highest possible level of service.

  • Maintain relationships with healthcare providers and hospitals in the local community.

Qualifications:
  • A current license as a Registered Nurse, in good standing
  • 1+ years of nursing experience, skilled nursing, long term, with 1+ years as Director of Nursing
  • Proven results and experience in a management role
  • Strong working knowledge of regulatory compliance
