Requirements

Summary:

The Director of Revenue Operations is a senior leadership role at the intersection of Revenue Execution, Strategy, Technology, and AI-enabled growth. Reporting to the VP of Data and Business Operations, you will own the systems, processes, data infrastructure, and people that power AgencyBloc's go-to-market engine across sales, marketing, and customer success.

This role demands a builder and a strategist in equal measure — someone who can architect AI- augmented RevOps functions, translate complex data into confident executive decisions, and develop high-performing team that operates ahead of the business rather than behind it. You will be the force multiplier that allows GTM teams to move faster, sell smarter, and retain more.

Responsibilities:

AI Strategy & Revenue Intelligence

  • Lead the adoption of AI across the RevOps function — from predictive pipeline forecasting and AI-assisted deal scoring to automated insight generation and conversational analytics.
  • Build and maintain an AI-ready data infrastructure that connects CRM, ERP, product telemetry, and customer success platforms into a single, trusted revenue intelligence layer.
  • Establish advanced forecasting models that provide accurate, real-time revenue projections to inform executive planning and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate and implement AI-native tools that increase GTM velocity, reduce manual overhead, and surface actionable intelligence proactively.

Process Optimization & Scalability

  • Partner with GTM leadership to design, document, and continuously improve revenue processes across the full prospect-to-renewal lifecycle.
  • Identify friction points across sales, marketing, and customer success workflows and lead redesign initiatives that leverage automation and AI to drive efficiency at scale.
  • Implement and govern best-practice methodologies for pipeline management, lead lifecycle, campaign attribution, and customer health tracking.
  • Ensure operational readiness for growth — building processes and systems that scale gracefully with the business.

Tech Stack Ownership & Systems Leadership

  • Own the end-to-end RevOps technology ecosystem including CRM, marketing automation, customer success, ERP, and data enrichment platforms.
  • Lead evaluation, procurement, and integration of new technologies with a bias toward AI-native, best-in-class SaaS solutions.
  • Oversee integrations and data flows between systems to ensure consistent, accurate, real-time data availability across all GTM touchpoints.
  • Maintain governance standards for data quality, schema integrity, and platform adoption across the stack.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Revenue Operations team spanning systems administration, data analytics, and intelligence functions.
  • Define team OKRs and individual KPIs that align RevOps output directly to pipeline generation, win rate, retention, and revenue efficiency
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, continuous improvement, and proactive insight delivery where the team is always a step ahead of business needs.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach: willing to get into the data, troubleshoot systems, and build alongside the team when it matters.

Executive Partnership & Strategic Communication

  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the VP of Operations and executive leadership team, delivering clear, data-backed recommendations on growth levers and risk areas.
  • Craft compelling, narrative-driven presentations that translate complex revenue data into actionable strategy for a range of stakeholder audiences.
  • Drive alignment between sales, marketing, and customer success leadership by establishing shared definitions, shared metrics, and shared accountability structures.
  • Participate actively in strategic planning cycles, providing RevOps perspective on where to invest, what to automate, and how to scale efficiently.

Skills/Education/Experience:

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, or equivalent leadership role within a SaaS organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading RevOps at a company with $40M+ in ARR or equivalent revenue scale.
  • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing RevOps teams.
  • Deep expertise in CRM platforms, marketing automation, and SaaS product analytics tools.
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools in a GTM or RevOps context — predictive scoring, AI-assisted forecasting, automated reporting, or LLM-enabled analytics.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to move from data to decision quickly.
  • Strong executive presence with polished communication and presentation skills.

Preferred

  • HubSpot platform expertise across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub.
  • Experience with AI-native RevOps or sales intelligence tools (e.g., Gong, Clari, 6sense, HubSpot Breeze).
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure tools: Snowflake, dbt, reverse ETL platforms (Census, Hightouch), or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Python for ad hoc analysis and data pipeline oversight.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage Intacct) and cross-platform data integration.
  • Background in insurance distribution, vertical SaaS, or similarly complex B2B GTM environments.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Executive leadership has real-time, trusted visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue risk.
  • AI tools are embedded across GTM workflows, reducing manual work and improving conversion at every stage.
  • The RevOps team is proactive — delivering insights before stakeholders ask for them
  • Sales, marketing, and customer success operate from shared data, shared definitions, and shared accountability.
  • The tech stack is clean, well-integrated, and continuously improving in lockstep with company growth.
