What you'll do...Director, Ads Monetization Product Marketing We are seeking a Director of Ads Monetization Product Marketing to lead the monetization PMM function responsible for accelerating adoption, utilization, and revenue growth across Walmart Connect’s online and in-store advertising platform. his leader will own the strategy, commercialization, and market success of Walmart Connect’s monetization portfolio while building and developing a high performing team, influencing senior stakeholders, establishing scalable operating models, and helping elevate the overall Product Marketing organization. This leader will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Revenue, Product Analytics, and Strategy teams to translate monetization capabilities into customer value, commercial impact, and scalable growth strategies. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, this role will help shape product strategy, adoption priorities, business narratives, and cross-functional decision making that drives advertiser success and revenue growth. In this role, you will own the go to market strategy and commercialization of Walmart Connect’s monetization portfolio, including Sponsored Search and Store ads platform along with audience targeting, and bidding strategies. You will work closely with Product and business leaders to ensure monetization capabilities are effectively launched, adopted, and optimized to drive advertiser performance and business growth. You will also help identify and prioritize monetization opportunities, synthesize advertiser and market feedback, and partner with Product teams to influence roadmap priorities. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Walmart Connect’s revenue engine while driving adoption of innovative advertising capabilities across a rapidly growing platform. What you’ll do
  • Lead monetization product marketing strategy across Walmart Connect’s revenue driving advertising portfolio.
  • Own the adoption, commercialization, and business success of monetization capabilities, with accountability for advertiser utilization, revenue growth, customer understanding, sales confidence, and measurable GTM impact.
  • Own go to market strategy, positioning, and commercialization plans for Sponsored Search, programmatic advertising, audience targeting, bidding and auction optimization, campaign automation, personalization, ad relevance, and pricing capabilities.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Revenue, Sales, Product Analytics, Measurement Insights, Strategy, and Marketing teams to shape monetization strategy and business outcomes.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders, influencing product strategy, adoption priorities, investment decisions, business narratives, and roadmap direction through customer insights, market intelligence, and performance data.
  • Translate complex platform capabilities into compelling customer value propositions, messaging frameworks, sales narratives, and commercialization strategies that accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
  • Lead advertiser adoption strategies for programmatic and API based buying solutions, ensuring successful launch execution, market penetration, and long term utilization.
  • Collaborate with Product and Revenue leadership on pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies that maximize advertiser value and platform growth.
  • Ensure monetization innovations are incorporated into sales motions, advertiser use cases, enablement programs, and commercialization plans.
  • Establish measurement frameworks, success metrics, and business reviews to track adoption, utilization, customer outcomes, revenue impact, and portfolio performance.
  • Build and scale operating models, planning processes, governance mechanisms, and operating rhythms that improve execution quality, accountability, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Create scalable frameworks, playbooks, and best practices that improve launch readiness, commercialization effectiveness, product adoption, and portfolio growth.
  • Drive organizational excellence by helping elevate PMM capabilities, refining product marketing frameworks, improving execution quality, and establishing higher standards across strategy, positioning, customer insights, and adoption planning.
  • Partner with PMM leadership to strengthen team effectiveness, improve prioritization and planning processes, and drive continuous improvement across the Product Marketing organization.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high performing team of product marketers, setting clear expectations, providing ongoing feedback, driving performance management, building future leaders, and fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning.
  • Drive executive communication, stakeholder alignment, and decision making across senior leadership teams to ensure successful delivery of monetization objectives and business outcomes.
What you’ll bring
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Portfolio Marketing, Revenue Marketing, or related GTM roles.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Proven success driving product adoption, attach, cross-sell, upsell, expansion, or portfolio growth.
  • Experience working in a complex, matrixed, multi-product organization.
  • Strong partnership skills with PMM, Product, Sales, Marketing, and analytics or strategy teams.
  • Ability to translate product capabilities into compelling advertiser-facing value propositions.
  • Experience building scalable GTM playbooks, enablement, positioning, and adoption programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using product usage, advertiser, funnel, and revenue, & market/competitive data to guide decisions.
  • Excellent executive communication skills and ability to influence senior cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting international markets preferred, especially US and China.
